CBO Mentor Program

The CBO Mentor Program is a one-year program designed to produce qualified district CBOs. It consists of classroom training taking place in 10 one-and-a-half-day sessions. In addition, each participant will be assigned a Mentor who is an experienced CBO and will be available to assist the participant as needed.

This project is a partnership of the California Association of School Business Officials (CASBO); School Services of California (SSC); the California County Superintendents Educational Services Association (CCSESA) sub-committee: Business and Administration Steering Committee (BASC); and the Fiscal Crisis and Management Assistance Team (FCMAT). FCMAT underwrites the project and it is free to participants.
